Calgary, Alberta holds an annual 9- day outdoor festival that celebrates western culture and includes a rodeo, musical performances, craft, clothing and food booths. People from around Canada and the US attend.

On July 4, 2025 at 9 AM the Calgary Stampede Parade kicked off. This year it included 35 floats, 9 marching bands and 700 horses. 300,000 spectators lined the streets.

The Tian Guo Marching Band has attended for several years and were once again given a warm welcome. The parade has live TV streaming and this year the announcer complimented the band on their beautiful costumes and melodic music.
