The Welland Rose Festival is an annual three- day event in the park that has been ongoing since 1961. The event includes a fishing derby for kids and a flower show competition, as well as musical performances.

On Father’s Day, June 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM, the Grand Parade kicked off.  Along with several marching bands, the parade included floral floats and equestrian units.

Excited audience members lined the streets and gave the Tian Guo Marching Band a warm welcome. Spectators cheered, clapped and thanked the band for their performance.
