The 30th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade commenced in downtown Toronto on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at noon. 5,000 people participated. The mild temperatures and sunny skies attracted half a million spectators.
The Tian Guo Marching Band was given a warm welcome and many audience members commented on their performance. Mr. Wyatt Buffolous, a parade organizer, said, “The performance was outstanding and I enjoyed the music.”
Mr. Ken Dishman, a photographer for CTV, took video footage of the parade. “The music is great and I enjoyed it a lot,” he said.
Ms. Vicky Choo and her husband Mr. Cole Kim are from South Korea. Ms. Choo stated that the band’s music was very uplifting.
