Fiesta Week Celebration, Oshawa, June 21, 2009

The Oshawa Folks Art Council presented the 37thAnnual Fiesta Week Celebration beginning on June 21, 2009. The multicultural family event commenced at noon with a parade (www./fiestaweek.ca).

This is the third consecutive year that The Tian Guo Marching Band was invited to march in the parade.

It was a hot, humid day and the streets were tightly packed with spectators. Audience members enthusiastically cheered and applauded the band to show their appreciation for the melodic tunes.
